Stay true to your values…..This week in my coaching and training sessions I have discussed the importance of recognising, aligning with and honouring our values. When we do this we make choices that are right for us and those around us, we are motivated, positive, proactive and authentic.

Jack is a game changer and a positive influencer as well as a gifted individual, every community needs people like him to bring light, hope and possibility where it is lacking.

Often a smile is the last thing on our mind as we enter a room feeling under pressure to perform in some way but really it should be the first.

This morning my Dad arrived at bang on 8.30am to collect my youngest daughter and take her to school so that my morning was a little easier. He asked me, did I have a busy day and I said, ‘Yes……I feel lucky to be working.’ In his gruff and equally gentle voice he said, ‘Good lass, I’ve brought you a bag of compost for the plant you want to re -pot’ and with that he left with my little girl.

It takes time to work out how to become you. There are so many reasons we hold back and dampen our true nature and true voice just so that we will fit in or not rock the boat. We do it without even knowing it! Maybe we want people to like us, maybe we want them to take notice, maybe we want to shock, scare, lure, flirt……..whatever it is, there is no point doing it unless you are actually being you. sooner or later you will crash.
