The Power of an Invincible Woman

My final event for International Women’s Day was the Invincible Woman event at Training Cave Boxing Gym with ex-professional boxer Jack Sunderland. I’ve been working with Jack for many years as his coach and now as a co-board director of the Training Cave, so I was really excited to see how the work we have done together over the years all came together to help us host the incredible afternoon, with funding from the Third Sector Leaders Kirklees (TSL) and the National Lottery.

My partnership with Jack has shown me that combining business and confidence coaching with physical coaching can create an unstoppable force and allow us to reach our highest goals. This afternoon aimed to show people how to do that. I led a session on empowerment and personal values to help the 20 female guests develop ways to build their confidence. Then Jack taught some basic boxing skills with the help of professional boxers Sylvia Doligala and Jasmina Zapotoczna. Overall the workshop emphasised the importance of a strong mind and body in developing confidence and purpose to empower women of all ages.

Kim Leadbeater MP opened the event and enjoyed it immensely, saying: “it was brilliant! It was great to meet Audrie and to see a roomful of women and girls having such a good time. Well done and thank you”. England Boxing also wrote about the event here.
