Magnificent….

…..ideas can come to us all and sometimes we just have to go for it!

The idea for this event came to me in early January. I was thinking that it would be great to bring some light to our dark winter days and for us to have something different to look forward to in Ryedale. I thought about the businesses and community lead organisations in my town of Malton and realised that many of these wonderful organisations are owned and run by women. I then thought about the many local women who have had a positive impact on my life and regardless of my life and career journey, the women here raise me up and bring a sense of love, belonging and purpose to my life. I am a businesswoman, coach and speaking consultant so, I thought I would create an event which brought everyone together to talk, connect, feel good and hear tremendous stories from people who inspire and motivate us all. It is International Women’s Day in March, I thought it would be a good opportunity to celebrate our local women and so, the MAGNIFICENT WOMEN event was born! I have wonderful support from everyone including the event sponsors, Ryedale District Council, Puddle Duck’s Nursery, Malton Relish and Malton school. It really is a community, not for profit event with a pay it forward scheme that permits a free place for an aspiring woman with every ticket purchased. We have technical support from A-level students, an excellent photographer to capture us all on the special night and renowned speakers, authors, community members and business owners to inspire and share their stories.

This is an event for both women and men, please join us!
