Magnificent Women

To kick off the week of International Woman’s Day, I held the Magnificent Women event in Malton. I shared the stage with a host of speakers, including Sandro Forte, CEO Forte Financial, speaker and podcaster; Gemma Smith, managing director of Strata; and Kathryn Bumby, The Yorkshire Pasta Company. I wanted this event to promote female solidarity and provide the opportunity for businesswomen to come together and get to know each other, sharing their goals and achievements with like-minded individuals because speaking to one another is an asset to growing and valuing our businesses.

I first wrote a blog post about the inception of this event in early February and I’m delighted to be writing this post to say the event really was magnificent!

Magnificent Women was extremely well-received and even sold out! As the event had a pay-it-forward scheme, many aspiring young women were able to attend for free and be introduced to the business community. The feedback I received from this event proved that when we unite as magnificent and inspiring women, we can create uplifting and motivating energy within the community and move forward feeling far richer from the experience of sharing!
